But before we jump all in, here’s what you need to do:

 

1. First, make sure to add my email to your contact list (ie “richa @ the richerjane. com”) . This is the email from which I’ll send you an email each day, with the day’s video and tasks. 

2 .Bookmark this page. This is where the daily video lessons and assignments are put up. Click on each day’s “tab” below to see the video + assignment for that day.  Below each video is a task for that day + link to an FB live QnA session that I ran during the last live round. (You’ll need to be logged in to FB to see it).  While you could in theory binge watch all the videos in one day, I’d recommend you take the time out to watch them one by one and actually DO the work each day to plan out your actual website!

Task for today :  Figure out the Pizza Rule for YOUR website! Write down

  1. Who is your target market 
  2. What do they want (aka their Pizza)
  3. What do they need (aka their ‘broccoli / veggies’)
  4. Why/How are you the best person to help them get that.

Tasks for today:

  1.  Draw the layout for YOUR Home Page on a paper. You can use these templates as examples for your HomePage Layout :  Home 1, Home 2, Home 3, Home 4
  2. Write out your copy, based on your layout (here’s a cool formula to help you write copy that connects)
  3. Decide what kind of photos and graphics you’d like to use on your page. You don’t have to go and find the perfect photos right now – but start thinking size, type, color scheme etc.
  4. Decide what your main Call-To-Action will be for this page.
